Install / Get the app
The People’s District Map is a free website you can add to your home screen. It is not published on the App Store or Google Play, and there is no store wrapper. Installing does not change the map: no party colors and no member scorecards.
iPhone or iPad
- Open this site in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (square with an arrow).
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Android or Chrome
- Open this site in Chrome.
- Tap the browser menu (three dots).
- Tap Install app or Add to Home Screen.
On desktop Chrome, use the install icon in the address bar when it appears, or the Install button below if this browser offers it.
What installs
The home-screen icon opens the map in its own window (standalone). The service worker caches the app shell only — the site chrome and this install page. Choropleth files under /data stay on the network (network-first / not stored as an offline map).
A dated ZIP of the public data files is later / Phase E.
The map stays free. Optional crypto support is a separate page: Donate. Donations are not required to install or use the map.
